Otis has been seen by an ophthalmologist and 2 veterinarians. He has a problem with his retinas that might've been congenital. At most, he seems to see shadows. Other than that, he's perfectly "normal". He's been neutered, combo-tested, vaccinated and is thriving in temporary foster care. He loves attention, playing, and being brushed. He uses his litter box, eats heartily, and trills and purrs readily. No more frightened caterwauling like when he was first found. He moves about freely, even running when he knows where he wants to go. He’s a fine fellow who’d do best with a family who can accommodate his need for a quiet environment and gentle company. He responds to affection and is known to give “kisses” when petted. He is currently spending time in the company of other cats without any bad behavior on his part. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for his house buddies. They swat at him, leaving Otis frozen in place and wondering what hit him.
